Canoo, the maker of the pod-like pickup EV truck, is set to start mass production soon.
The company has already secured contracts with Walmart and the US Army, and its vehicles are set to be used as delivery vehicles and light tactical vehicles. Canoo’s EV pickup truck comes with the option of a rear motor or dual motor setup, with the dual motor version capable of producing 600 horsepower and traveling up to 200 miles on a single charge. The starting price for the Canoo pickup truck is set to be around $40,000.
