Volkswagen’s EV Platform for Jetta: Unveiling Leap Motor’s New Architecture

This is the EV platform Volkswagen is seeking to license from Leap Motor for its Chinese Jetta brand. The so-called “Four Leaf Clover” architecture is set to underpin Leap Motor’s new B11 SUV set to be unveiled at the 2023 Munich motor show

As well as supporting pure electric drivetrains, the Four Leaf Clover platform accommodates range extender (REX/REEV) and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) applications. It uses an integrated computing platform to control all intelligent functions, says Leapmotor’s CEO, Zhu Jiangming
