2027 BMW M3 All-Electric Unleashes 1300bhp Power
BMW’s development chief, Frank Weber, confirmed at a recent event that the upcoming electric M3 will be built upon BMW’s Neue Klasse (NK) platform. This platform was showcased through a striking concept at the recent Munich Motor Show. The electric M3 is set to debut shortly after the next-generation electric BMW 3 Series.
Weber directly stated, “The next M3 will be fully electric with a battery-powered drivetrain.” He also emphasized that there will be a coexistence period with the current petrol-powered M3, which he described as necessary. It’s worth noting that the S58 six-cylinder engine, currently used in the M3, is planned to remain in production beyond 2030.
