Official Spy Shots: 2023 BYD Song L Electric Crossover SUV

The production version of the BYD Song L is undergoing final validation tests ahead of a planned launch in China in Q4 2023. The styling of the new model was revealed by a concept car at the Shanghai motor show in April.

Now, the Company has released official spy shots of its upcoming Song L Electric Crossover SUV. The Song L made its debut at the Shanghai Auto Show in April as a semi-concept.

Although the test car in the photos carries camouflage, the front design has been toned down considerably compared to the concept. Compared to other BYDs in the Dynasty series, the headlights are smaller.

The Song L is a sporty mid-size electric crossover SUV based on BYD’s e-platform 3.0. It gets a Blade battery, cell-to-body (CTB) technology, and an all-wheel drive.

BYD Song L will launch in Q4 2023 in the Chinese car market.
